The World Of Coffee

Today it's almost unthinkable to spend some time together with out a cup of coffee, with so many available kinds and flavors even the cups are being bigger.

Even though most of us will think of Brasil and South America, coffee is actually from tropical Africa from where it arrived in Europe during the half of the 15. century. While walking the streets of any town you will pass by so many coffee shops or cafe's which name itself tells us everything. Popular meeting places since the beginning of 16. century where later they've started serving tea, also.

There are many researches today and I'm sure you have heard about the energy property it has all thanks to it's main ingredient caffeine which improves our memory and mood. Besides that coffee is often found in many things meant to remove fat from our body or just get our metabolism going even though there are many different opinions should we drink it early in the morning or later in the afternoon.

That headache you had could have been because of the lack of caffeine in your body if after a while you skip your usual cup of coffee.

Coffee can be found in many cosmetics products also, mostly those meant to remove cellulite.

On the picture below you have the best known types of coffee if you wanna change your routine and replace your usual cup of coffee with something different.

The coffee itself is made by boiling a L of water with about 60 gr of grinded coffee (12 tea spoons) for about 4-5 minutes until the foam appears at the top. While you can boil the water first, with or without sugar and as soon as the first small bubbles of boiling water appear you add the amount of coffee you like and stir it couple of times after the foam appears. Which way you are going to use depends only on what flavor you like.

The "hardest" part is perhaps making the milk foam for which you can find so many tutorials. They say the milk with more fat in it will get a richer foam, the easiest way to make it is to use a hand electric mixer. For two cups of coffee you need 3 teaspoons of powder whipped cream and 75 ml of milk.

When it comes to topping everyone likes different things so you can add chocolate, honey, cinnamon, walnuts or caramel topping.

Except as a decoration cinnamon can be used in stead of sugar, for one cup of coffee you need a bit more than half of tea spoon of cinnamon, while there are people adding some vanilla too. They say it's a more healthier version than using sugar. 1

Do you like coffee and what kind do you love ?

Srpski:

Da li i kakvu kafu vi volite ?
